Poppy Fields Forever



The wind was blowing hard today at the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve today, but there were plenty of folks out there to see the poppy bloom at it's peak. Unfortunately, the wind was blowing so hard that most of the flowers were closed up but it was still a beautiful sea of orange out there.

LA City Council Approves Medical Marijuana Crackdown

This might be bad news to some folks: A medical marijuana dispensary on the Venice Boardwalk today. The Los Angeles City Council passed a medical marijuana ordinance that will enable authorities to start closing hundreds of illegal pot shops, starting in early June.

Welterweight Campion Sugar Shane Mosley in Pasadena

Current WBA Welterweight World Champion Sugar Shane Mosley held a workout for the media today to promote his bout in May against Floyd Mayweather Jr. The event was held at Pasadena's Classic Kickboxing Gym in a ring featured on the Academy Award winning film Million Dollar Baby.

Los Angeles Zoo


I stopped by the LA Zoo the other day, hadn't been there in years. These are a few of the amazing animals living in here Los Angeles with us.
